America is beset by legends and folklore. While some stories are inspiring, other tales are truly dark and frightening. In Bedtime Story, we learn about the legend of Red Raw, a tall tale of a ghastly beast coming into your bedroom and stealing your skin. It was a story based on the real-life murders of eight people around a mid-size city of Medford, South Carolina back in 1985.
No one talks about that night, in fact, it’s treated as an unsolved mystery. What remains of that incident are the creepy stories of Red Raw.
Some folks say that Red Raw killed those people and the town’s covering it up. Sounds crazy, right? That’s what 17-year-old Kat Mills thought until she and her closest group of friends and family unearth the deadly truth behind the local urban legend.
